Clinical Director

T ony Stump, PT, OCS is a licensed physical therapist with twenty-four years of clinical experience. He has successfully treated a myriad of musculoskeletal problems in adults and children. He is licensed in both Indiana and Ohio, and earned his certification as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in June of 2006.

Tony keeps pace with the latest advances in Sports Medicine and the Physical Therapy Profession by attending seminars throughout the year. He has been to a number of manual therapy seminars and is well versed in a multitude of manual treatment techniques, including the Graston Technique of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Muscle Energy Technique, Therapeutic Taping, Articular Mobilizations, Myofascial Release, and the Mulligan Concept.

Tony approaches every patient with care and professionalism, beginning with a thorough evaluation to determine the underlying root of the problem causing pain and/or functional limitation. He then develops a treatment plan based on the most practical and effective approach to addressing those problems best suited for physical therapy intervention, discusses it with the patient, and relays it to the referring physician. He strives for appropriate hands-on treatment individualized to each patient.

Balance & Vestibular Expert

Vicki Gatchell, PT, CMP, is a licensed physical therapist with nineteen years of clinical experience. She has successfully treated neurological and musculoskeletal problems, and for the past ten years has specialized in balance and vestibular disorders. Vicki is a graduate of Ohio State University, is licensed in both Indiana and Ohio, and is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner. She utilizes her unique manual skills in vestibular rehabilitation by emphasizing the cervical spine in relation to dizziness, headaches, TMJ and neck pain.

Vicki keeps up with advances in physical therapy through continuing education seminars offered throughout the year. In addition to her Mulligan Certification she is skilled in several manual therapy techniques, including the Graston Technique of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Therapeutic Taping, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy and Articular Mobilizations.

The New Vision approach to vestibular rehabilitation successfully integrates Vicki’s philosophy of manual therapy for vertebral alignment, neuromuscular reeducation, vestibular/balance training, and specific therapeutic exercises. She will address problems related to Vestibulo-Spinal Reflex (VSR), Vestibulo-Ocular Reflex (VOR), Trigeminal nerve dysfunction, TMJ, Cervicogenic pain, vertigo and headache. Vicki is also skilled at performing the Epley Procedure (Canalith Repositioning Maneuver) for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and other vertigo problems.
